Mention the offer when you book. One offer per household per visit; offers can’t be combined with each other and don’t apply to work already quoted or completed. Local pricing and availability vary by location - your local Laurel Attic Insulation team confirms the final price in writing before any work begins.
Every job is priced the same way: a free written estimate
We price the job, not the hour. Before anyone touches anything, you get the full price for the specific work in writing - no hourly meter, no membership to join, no financing to sign, and no line items added afterwards. If the number isn’t right for you, the estimate is still free and you owe us nothing.
How We Price Insulation Work
Every job at Laurel Attic Insulation is priced one way: a free written estimate, specific to your home, before anyone picks up a tool. No hourly rate. No plan to join. Nothing to sign up for. We look at what your attic actually needs – the current insulation depth, the material condition, the access points – and we write you a number. That number is the price. It doesn’t change once work starts, and it doesn’t come with a surprise line item when the invoice lands. You see the full cost before you commit, and you’re free to walk away if it’s not right for you. That’s the whole model, and Chase Whitaker built Laurel on it back in 2003 for exactly that reason.
What a Visit Actually Costs You to Find Out
Nothing. The estimate visit is free. When we come out, we get into the attic, check what’s there, and give you a clear picture of what’s going on – whether that’s settled blown-in fiberglass that’s lost its R-value, spray foam that’s pulling away from the rafters, or old batts that were never the right material for the space. At the end of the visit, you get a written price. Not a ballpark. Not a range we’ll narrow down later. A number. You’re under no obligation to book. Some people need to think it over, get a second opinion, or talk to a spouse first. That’s fine. We’d rather you call us back when you’re ready than feel pressured into a job you’re not sure about.
When People Usually Call Us
Insulation work has a rhythm to it. The two busiest windows tend to be late spring – when heating bills from the winter are fresh and homeowners are planning ahead before summer heat sets in – and early fall, when the thought of another expensive heating season is the motivation. Those are the planning calls.
Then there are the reactive calls, and they’re different. The attic access panel gets opened during a move-in inspection and nobody’s sure when the insulation was last touched. An energy audit flags the attic as the biggest heat-loss point in the house. A bathroom exhaust fan that was venting into the attic for years has left moisture damage that took out the insulation around it. A spray foam job done years ago by someone else is starting to shrink and crack at the seams.
We get all of these. The planning calls are easier to schedule at a relaxed pace. The reactive ones we try to turn around quickly, because a compromised attic in the middle of a cold stretch isn’t a problem that improves on its own. Either way, the process starts the same place: a free written estimate.
What You Can Expect From Us Either Way
A few things don’t change from job to job. The written price comes before any work starts – that’s The Relay Visibility Guarantee, and it’s on every single job. You get a live arrival time you can track to your door, not a vague four-hour window where you’re rearranging your whole morning. Our technicians are background-checked and uniformed. You get before-and-after photos of the work. The digital invoice arrives by text, and you can pay from the link.
Every completed job is also covered by the 365-Day Done Right Promise. If something isn’t right with the workmanship in the first year, we come back and make it right – in writing, no argument. If the repair fails, the second visit is free. Chase Whitaker has put his name on that promise since 2003, and it’s delivered with the written guarantee that comes with every job.
Materials are matched to what your attic actually needs. We work with eight brands – Owens Corning, Johns Manville, Knauf, Rockwool, CertainTeed, Icynene, Demilec, and GreenFiber – so the choice comes down to what performs best in your home, not whatever happens to be on the truck that day.
Common Questions
Is the estimate really free?
Yes, the estimate is completely free. We come out, assess your attic, and hand you a written price with no obligation to proceed. If you decide not to book, you owe us nothing – not a trip charge, not a consultation fee, nothing.
Do you offer financing or a monthly plan?
We don’t, and that’s a deliberate choice. Laurel Attic Insulation prices each job off a free written estimate – one clear number for the specific work your home needs. There’s no financing product, no payment plan, no subscription, and nothing to sign up for. If the price doesn’t work for your timing, we’d rather you call us back when it does than put you into a financial product that adds cost over time.
Can I combine the 10% first-visit offer with another offer?
One offer per household per visit. The offers listed on this page are each applied individually to a qualifying job – they don’t stack. If you have a question about which one applies to your situation, the live person who answers when you call can walk you through it.
Does the price change once your crew is in the attic?
No. The written estimate is the price. If we get up there and find something that wasn’t visible during the estimate visit – say, a moisture issue under the insulation that changes the scope of the job – we stop, come back down, and re-quote before touching anything new. You approve any change in writing before additional work begins. The number on your estimate is what you pay for the work that was estimated.
