The Promise, in One Paragraph
Every job Laurel Attic Insulation performs is backed by a 365-day workmanship promise – the 365-Day Done Right Promise – and by The Relay Visibility Guarantee, which means a written price before anything starts, a live arrival time you can track, and before-and-after photos sent to you when the job is done. If the work we did doesn’t hold up within 365 days of your service date, we come back, we fix it, and we don’t charge you for the return visit. No forms, no arguments, no fine print buried at the bottom of a page nobody reads.
What’s Covered
- Our workmanship, top to bottom. Every installation, removal, or spray foam application we performed on your job is covered for a full 365 days from the date we finished.
- Materials we supplied and installed. If a material we sourced and placed – whether that’s Owens Corning batts, Rockwool, Icynene spray foam, or any other product we brought to your home – fails to perform the way it should, that’s on us.
- A no-charge return visit. If you call us within the 365-day window, the visit itself costs nothing. We schedule it, we show up, we assess it. No fee to get us back through the door.
- A full redo when a repair doesn’t hold. If we came back once and the problem repeats, we come back again. The promise covers the fix, not just the visit.
- Clean-up after the return visit. Same standard as the original job – we leave the space the way we found it, or better.
- The written guarantee itself. A record of this promise is included with the digital invoice delivered after every job. You can find it from the payment link without having to dig through a filing cabinet.
What Isn’t Covered
- Damage from a storm, water intrusion, or accident after we left. If a roof leak develops six months after we insulated your attic, that’s a roofing issue, not a workmanship issue – and we’ll tell you that plainly. We’ll still come look if you’re not sure which it is.
- Work done by another contractor. If someone else worked on the same area after us, we can’t stand behind the result of that combined work. We’ll still come out to assess what’s ours versus what isn’t.
- Parts or materials the customer supplied. We can only guarantee materials we selected, sourced, and installed. If you provided a product and asked us to install it, the product itself falls outside the promise.
- Normal settling or compression over time on equipment we didn’t touch. Insulation in older sections of an attic that we didn’t service isn’t covered – only the work we actually did.
- Problems we flagged that you chose not to address. If we identified an issue during the job and you decided to hold off on fixing it, we noted that in your job record. We’ll still come back and discuss it – no judgment – but the outcome of leaving it isn’t on the promise.
- Anything outside the 365-day window. The window is exactly 365 days from your service date. If something comes up just after it closes, call us anyway. We’re reasonable people, and we’ll take a look before we say no to anything.
How to Use the Promise
Step 1: Call us or book online
Reach us at (361) 315-4177 – a live person picks up every call, around the clock. Or book the return visit directly from the link in your original invoice.
Step 2: Tell us the job and roughly when it was done
You don’t need a receipt number or a booking confirmation in hand. We have your job on file – the date, the scope, the materials used, and the technician who was there. Just describe what you’re seeing and we’ll pull it up.
Step 3: We schedule the return visit
We give you a real arrival time, not a four-hour window. You’ll get a live tracking update so you know exactly when we’re on the way – same experience as the original booking.
Step 4: We make it right
There is no fee, no form to fill out, and nothing to sign. The technician assesses the issue, corrects the work, and you get a follow-up confirmation that it’s been resolved. That’s the whole process.
Timing
The 365-day window starts on the date your job was completed – that date is stamped on your invoice. If you’re reaching out toward the end of that window, don’t hesitate to call. We’d rather hear from you on day 370 than not at all. Laurel Attic Insulation is independently owned and operated as part of the Relay Home Co. family, and every location in that family honors this promise on the same terms. The promise isn’t a corporate policy that varies by market. It’s the same written commitment on every job, every time.
Questions About the Promise
If you’re not sure whether your situation falls under the promise, call (361) 315-4177. A live person answers every call – no voicemail, no callback queue. Describe what you’re seeing, and we’ll tell you exactly where things stand. Estimates on return visits, like all our estimates, are free and in writing before anything starts.
